Hiking From Adrasan to Cirali and Olympos on the Lycian Way
Total Distance: 16km
You’ll start on the beach of Adrasan and cross through a stream and follow a creek to enter the Lycian Way path.
You’ll follow a very steep incline to Mount Moses through dense forest until reaching a clearing made by a tornado. In the winter, it’s common for tornados and water sprouts to come up from the sea.
By veering off the path, you’ll be able to look down at the site of upper Olympos. This is where the Lycian Pirates battled the navy of Pompey the Great before their destruction.
If you wish to camp along this section there’s a commercial campsite near the highpoint with beverages available. There are many spots to wild camp along this section.
Finally you will follow the path down near a stream to reach the beach of Cirali in Olympos.
Olympos has many unique accommodations like treehouse hotels and hippie camping spots. There’s also a beautiful beach, ancient ruins, and so many delicious restaurants.
