Hiking from Gavuragili to Patara Beach on the Lycian Way

On this section of the trail, you will climb and then descend a moderately sized hill. Way-finding can be a bit confusing in this section so be careful at junction points.
There are limited water sources here so make sure to fill up in Gavuragili!
This trail will pass directly through the Pydnai ruins. This site is unmaintained and unrestored. You will walk along a historical innovation of the Roman civilization of Lycia, Delikkemmer. This is an ancient syphon for the aqueduct of the ancient city of Patara.
You’ll be able to explore the ruins until heading to the beach where there will be restaurants and cafes to enjoy by the sea.
Most hikers will camp along the beach here, but sometimes they can not allow hikers on the beach.
This beach will be the first beach you cross since Kabak beach!
