Hiking From Akbel to Delikkemer to Kalkan on the Lycian Way

This section from Akbel to Kalkan is exciting because you will cross through the impressive Roman aqueduct of Delikkemer.
Most of this section will be hiking on-top of the roman aqueduct. It’s 5.3km to Delikkemer from Akbel.
There are some good camping spots by the aqueduct.
Most of this trail is lined with sharp plants.
There are some alternative paths that branch out of this area to take you to Gelemis(Patara Village) which is nearby the Patara ruins. The main path takes you to Kalkan.
The trek from Delikkemer to Kalkan is difficult with a distance of 5.3km.
This section is difficult due to some rocky sections, overgrown bushes, and not many trail markings. It’s recommended to check your maps frequently in this section. Many people skip this section due to it’s difficulty.
