The hike from Kabak to Alinca and Gey on the Lycian Way is one of the most beautiful walks on the Lycian Way.

Total Distance: 16km

This section typically takes two days.

The hike from Kabak beach to the village of Alinca will give you a good workout! It’s not technically difficult but there will be a lot of descending and climbing.

There are no reliable water sources between Kabak and Alinca, so make sure you bring extra water with you. There are a lot of wild camping spots available on this section of the trail.

There’s an optional detour off this section to see a waterfall with a shallow pool that you can stand in on a hot day!

There will be cafes in Alinca! Most hikers will stop in Alinca to camp, or book an accommodation beforehand.

The next section is from Alinca to Gey.

This hike is also challenging, but beautiful. There will be some cliffside walking with narrow paths that’s not for the faint of heart, especially with a heavy pack. If this is stressful for you, opt to hike on the road to Gey instead!

There are several water fountains here, but don’t rely completely on these sources.

Wild camping in this section is limited.

You will end the hike by climbing to the village of Gey, where there is a pansion(hotel) to stay!
